Welcome!

I offer a space for those drawn to the transformative work of deepening their understanding of themselves to find more compassion, peace, and connection in their relationships with themselves and their loved ones.

You may be a parent or in the perinatal period - the time between when you are planning or contemplating growing your family, through fertility, pregnancy, birth, and early parenting - feeling overwhelmed, self-critical, anxious, angry, lost, or lonely.

You may be feeling out of control, disconnected, or numb in the aftermath of a difficult childhood, trauma, or loss, feeling stuck, ashamed, or confused.

Maybe you are longing for more connection, safety, or ease in relationships with your partner, children or family members, wanting to move beyond recurring cycles of miscommunication, conflict, or distance and find new ways to relate that feel more aligned with your self and values.

Or perhaps you are struggling with complicated thoughts, feelings or behaviors related to body image or your relationship to eating, exercise, or food.

You deserve support.

Therapy can offer a space to slow down, reflect on yourself, your life and your patterns, andand learn new skills and ways of being so you can feel more presence, safety, confidence, pleasure, and joy in your body, mind, and relationships.

I can support you in making sense of your experiences, help you connect with yourself and strengthen your relationships, and find steadier ground in the midst of challenge and change.

Hello — I’m Connie!

I am passionate about perinatal mental health & parenting, relationship health, and trauma healing.

I am especially passionate about working with individuals, couples, and parents who don’t always feel that they “fit” society’s narrow ideas of who they should be, including people with ADHD, highly sensitive people, those living through the impacts of trauma and CPTSD, LGBTQIA+ individuals and families, and anyone struggling to feel confident or secure in their self, relationships, and/or parenting.

I integrate psychodynamic and relational therapy, EMDR, IFS/parts work and somatic (body-centered) practices to help you navigate your unique experience so you can feel more present, connected, and fulfilled in your life and relationships.

“Connie provided exceptional support to me during a challenging post-partum period. Her therapy style is warm, empathetic, and grounded in understanding. She takes time to explain the reasons behind emotional and physical changes, offering clarity that empowers informed decisions. Her thoughtful guidance and calm demeanor helped restore my confidence and well-being. I highly recommend Connie to anyone seeking a therapist who combines expertise with genuine care.”

“Connie is funny, kind, smart, and straightforward. She is the first therapist I have seen for more than 3 sessions in my LIFE. She feels safe and pushes me at the same time. I was in the darkest place I’ve ever been and Connie advocated for me and made sure I knew it was normal and everything would be okay.”

As someone who has gone to therapy on and off since high school, I do not say this lightly: Connie is the best therapist I have ever worked with. Her care, compassion, knowledge, and genuine passion for her work are evident in every session. I particularly appreciate her ability to balance research-based knowledge with emotional support across various areas of self-work. Whether you are looking for a therapist for the first time or seeking someone new, I cannot recommend Connie enough.
