The reproductive and parenting years can be incredibly challenging.

The pictures we are fed online - where everything looks easy and natural - rarely capture what people are actually living through during this time. The excitement, love, and joy we are told we should always feel can collide with, or be completely overshadowed by, feelings of insecurity, anxiety, grief, loneliness, confusion, anger, and fear. Sometimes we know why it feels so hard. Other times it’s not so clear.

You may find yourself asking: “Is it supposed to be this hard?” “Am I cut out for this?” “What is wrong with me?”

Know that you are not alone.

The reality is that these years can be intense. Hormone changes. No sleep. Miscarriage and loss. Birth trauma. Body changes. Missing your career. Missing your baby. Missing your relationship. Missing yourself! Identity changes. Feeding challenges. Little time for self-care. Health anxiety. Navigating your child’s big feelings. Trying to navigate your big feelings. Navigating the medical system. Navigating family dynamics. Logistical tetris.

The list goes on.

In a fast-paced world where google and AI is at our fingertips, it can be easy to rely on the internet for answers.

But sometimes what we actually need is a space to slow down.

To feel truly heard by someone who understands the intense challenges and complexities of this time in life.

To learn new tools, information, and skills for a new experience.

To have your struggles and your strengths reflected back to you in a way that helps you see yourself more clearly - with compassion and renewed hope

Together, we can make sense of your experiences, help you connect with yourself and strengthen your relationships, and find steadier ground in the midst of change.

Welcome — I’m Connie!

I am passionate about perinatal mental health, parenting, child development, relationship health, and trauma healing.

I am especially passionate about working with women and parents who don’t always feel that they “fit” society’s narrow ideas of what parents and families should look like — including caregivers with ADHD, highly sensitive parents, those parenting through the impacts of trauma, LGBTQIA+ individuals and families, parents and children with disabilities, single parents, parents without living children, people with non-dominant identities, and anyone struggling to feel confident or secure in their parenting and/or sense of self.

Through a blend of reflective exploration, person-centered guidance, and somatic (body-centered) practices, I can help you navigate your unique experience to feel more present, connected, and fulfilled in your life and relationships.

  • “Connie is funny, kind, smart, and straightforward. She is the first therapist I have seen for more than 3 sessions in my LIFE. She feels safe and pushes me at the same time. I was in the darkest place I’ve ever been and Connie advocated for me and made sure I knew it was normal and everything would be okay.”

    — D.C.

  • As someone who has gone to therapy on and off since high school, I do not say this lightly: Connie is the best therapist I have ever worked with. Her care, compassion, knowledge, and genuine passion for her work are evident in every session. I particularly appreciate her ability to balance research-based knowledge with emotional support across various areas of self-work. Whether you are looking for a therapist for the first time or seeking someone new, I cannot recommend Connie enough.
